SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA CAMELLIA SOCIETY PROGRAMS FOR 2013-2014
The Southern California Camellia Society meets each month October-April, excluding December. Meetings are held on the 4th Thursday of the month. (3rd Thursday in November.)
THE PUBLIC IS WELCOME TO ALL MEETINGS
Location: Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Gardens, South of I-210 at 301 N. Baldwin Ave, Arcadia.
Time: 7:00 PM. Culture Session and Featured Speaker program. Refreshments and a Camellia Plant Raffle conclude each meeting.

Location: Special Field Trip to the Goldfarb Garden in Los Angeles. No meeting wil be held on the 4th Thursday.

We will meet downstairs at the Arboretum. This month’s meeting will begin with a “Pizza Party” at 6:30. A nominal fee of $3.00 will cover the cost of pizza and a soda. Bob Epstein, a long-time member of Southern California Camellia Society, will regale us with tales about his years when he worked with Ralph Peer at Park Hill. On our raffle table this time will be two candlesticks created by the late Grady Perigan from camellia wood from Huntington Gardens.
