Join us on Facebook: Receive updates before local shows and meetings, see show photos and more!

The purpose of the Society is to promote the appreciation of camellias and knowledge of camellia culture techniques. Through shows, special programs, and monthly meetings in Fall, Winter, and Spring, members meet to share their knowledge and experience, and to enjoy talks by local nurserymen, horticulturists, and garden designers. The public is welcome and cordially invited to all events.
Special programs include: hands on workshops on such topics as pruning, grafting, air-layering, and gibbing, how to propagate camellias, how to prepare blooms for the shows, landscape uses of the camellia in various contexts, and seasonal tips on how to care for camellias.
Please browse the Camellia Culture articles posted here, and be sure to visit the Photo gallery. Have a camellia question? Feel free to drop by a meeting, email us, or check out Carol's Camellia Journal, a new camellia blog.
